Do I need internet on site to measure and estimate?＋
No. Once signed in, Alux operates 100% offline. Every project, measurement, and custom rate is stored in an embedded SQLite database on your local device. As soon as your device detects internet connectivity, data automatically synchronizes to the cloud.
How are raw material deductions calculated?＋
Alux allows dual costing modes: either selling rate per square foot, or extrusion-weight based raw material costing. Extrusion weight is computed via factory kg-per-sqft allowances with automated hardware allowance, glass area deduction, wastage percentages, and markup on cost.
How does the Glass Supplier Slip differ from customer proposals?＋
Customer proposals contain your branded workshop letterhead, commercial pricing, GSTIN, and UPI payment details. The Glass Supplier Slip isolates only the glass specifications: cutting width, height, thickness, glass type, and opening location tags, ensuring your profit margins and metal rates remain confidential.
How do Advance Payments and Balance Dues work?＋
Record any advance token received on site. Alux calculates the remaining balance due automatically, visualizes balance dues across your workspace cards, and prints the exact advance receipt and remaining balance on the customer PDF.
